Planet Death

thechadhouts Some of thee most vile and primitive hardcore ever. What do you guys have to complain about? You live in San Diego for crying out loud! (hahaha. Kidding, of course). Mario's primitive, hamfisted, yet razor sharp riffing has drained my sack of sterility, and that's a very good thing! Dean Reis is the hardcore Paul McCartney on bass, which would make him pretty close to Andy Shernoff (or Adny Shernoff), I'm sure. Fuck, this record is so good. They should've made more. :-( Favorite track: Career Suicide.

about

In a music world filled with middle of the road, ego driven, wanna be rock stars, it’s a welcomed relief to hear a real hard rocking punk band play like this. Mannekin Piss delivers an onslaught of noisy rhythmic mayhem that brings back the spirit of good old hardcore like The Battalion of Saints. This is not easy listening, but it is so addictive it will give you a rash. The sound is mean and aggressive and they don’t slow it down at all.
Mannekin Piss has a pedigree that is very impressive. Each member has been involved with some of the most seminal San Diego bands of the last decade. Members have played in or are still in bands such as Heroin, Clikitatikatowi, The Sultans, Blackheart Procession, Chicano Christ, Rocket from the Crypt, Hot Snakes, Battalion of Saints, Sea of Tombs and many others. Each member brings a history of his own, and the music just explodes because of it.
